Number Selection (Graph)

SGRAPH.jpg - 100000 Bytes

This number selection window is graph based. The bottom graph displays the frequency of each number. The red numbers are hot numbers. The white numbers are cold.

The top graph lists the numbers that are most likely to be drawn with the numbers that have been selected by the user in the lists boxes at the bottom of the window. The numbers with the highest rank (4) are matched with four of the selected numbers. The numbers ranked with a (3) match three of the selected numbers. Etc.... After the fifth number is selected, the graph will roll over to listing the powerballs that are most likely to be drawn with the selected numbers. This will be shown on the next page.

The table on the left side middle of the window has two buttons along side it labeled TT and PT. TT stands for temp table. That table will store all number sets selected by the user before the number sets are moved to the played number table (PT). That occurs when "Print Ticket" is pressed. Pressing either the TT or PT button will pull that table up into the grid for viewing.

The Graph Data Source box contains two buttons. One that will load number data into the graph and the other that loads powerball data into the graph. The selection boxes next to the number and powerball buttons allow the user to select the algorithm they want loaded, the number of hot number (hot number depth) they want listed, and whether to use relative number frequency or actual number frequency. Relative and Actual only affects number data as numbers have been added to the drawing over time.

After all number sets have been selected for a drawing, the user can move the numbers into the played number table by pressing the "Print Ticket" button. There are plans to add the capability of PBM Client filling in the dots for powerball tickets via an attached printer. However, until that capability is realized, the user will have to fill in the ticket by hand.
